Sedgman has an opportunity for an Electrical and Controls Engineer with hands-on experience in plant maintenance and monitoring of equipment. This also involves the identification of potential plant improvements, and implementation of plant modifications as required, and to provide technical support to site personnel.

Responsibilities:

• Provide daily technical support assistance as required by site (including site visits, relief work, etc.)
• Carry out regular plant inspections and audits
• Implement & Commission small projects
• Perform studies into operational site improvements and modifications
• Identify design-out maintenance opportunities to improve plant performance, maintenance costs, and/or maintenance effort.
• Participate in economic justifications for plant modification, component replacement, and maintenance

Liaising with internal and external clients, other discipline professionals, and stakeholders within the industry to ensure the timely, accurate and cost effective delivery of projects through effective maintenance.
