Conduct research, design, develop, test, and troubleshoot customized communication systems.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct research, design, prototype, and prepare custom communication electronics for production.
- Explore new RF electrical hardware through experimentation.
- Investigate and experiment with emerging technologies.
- Develop technical specifications and test plans.
- Collaborate with technical authors to create operational documentation.
- Engage in team and individual problem-solving activities.
Qualifications:
- Hold a BS/MS degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.
- Proficient in using the Smith Chart.
- Possess over 4 years of hands-on experience in hardware development.
- Strong foundation in electronic mathematics and computer modeling.
- Familiarity with circuit boards, semiconductors, and measurement equipment.
- Ability to generate technical design documentation.
- Effective communication skills for task delegation and agenda setting.
- Meticulous attention to detail across all work aspects.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a willingness to acquire new skills.
Working hours: 7:00am-3:30p
