OUR CLIENT IS A LEADER IN THE MANUFACTURING MNC. DUE TO THEIR CURRENT EXPANSION PLAN, THEY ARE LOOKING FOR A ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER TO JOIN THEIR TEAM, IN HOPES OF DEVELOPING THE CURRENT HIGH PERFORMING TEAM. THEY ARE LOCATED IN THE WEST.

Responsibilities

• Develop new platform solutions for power supply and power system products, adhering to standard design practices and safety guidelines.
• Modify existing designs and enhance products for improved performance or cost efficiency.
• Lead project planning efforts to identify critical paths and provide strategic direction to mitigate risks.
• Conduct necessary tests and experiments to support or validate designs, and prepare written reports. This applies to both new product designs and legacy product failure analyses.
• Review product designs to ensure they comply with engineering principles, company procedures, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Perform verification and validation tests, including electrical performance, thermal, EMC, and DVT, to ensure products meet specifications before delivery to internal or external customers.
• Build and debug breadboards and prototype samples.
• Provide technical support to the factory for design-related issues.
• Offer coaching and guidance to engineers and technicians in design evaluation and development.
• Any ad-hoc duty as given

Requirement

• Min bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic engineering.
• Min 10 years’ experience in power supply electronics design.
• Experience and good knowledge of in SMPS circuit and topologies.
• Knowledgeable in DC-to-DC high voltage and high-power design.
• Proficient and good knowledge of Flyback, forward, half-bridge, resonant convertors and control loops.
• Detailed knowledge of requirements and tests for current safety standards
• Familiarity with PCB design will be added advantage
