Little is seeking an Electrical Designer with a positive, collaborative work style to join our Charlotte Team.
We are dedicated to elevating the performance of our clients through Results Beyond Architecture. We believe that the best design solutions come from the collaboration of people from all fields of design. Little is made up of architects, interior designers, engineers, land planners, landscape architects, graphic designers, animation specialists, and more who work together throughout the entire duration of a project.
Proven project design experience should include most of the following project types: financial services, office, interior renovation, civic, education, high tech, mission critical/data centers, and healthcare.

CANDIDATES WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 5 years of professional design experience in power distribution, fire alarm, lighting, and/or lighting controls systems using industry standard codes.
  • PE or EIT.
  • Revit proficiency.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Curious and creative with a passion for problem-solving and critical thinking.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and design methods.
  • Initiative to ask questions and hone skills while working on examples and projects.
  • A passion for Sustainability and energy efficiency.
  • Experience with construction administration tasks.

CANDIDATES WITH THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE ARE CONSIDERED PREFERRED:

  • Familiarity with lighting design/photometrics knowledge/experience.
  • Familiarity with low voltage, audio/video, and/or photo voltaic design.
  • Power systems studies.
  • Lighting Certified.
  • AutoCAD drafting.
