JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Responsibilities:
- Evaluation/comparison of tender vessel requirements against new building/existing vessel specification
- Attend and manage to deal with designers, classification, and flag statutory on engineering issues.
- Liaise with designer/classification society/vendors/construction team/Shipyard/Shipbuilder for any engineering or design issues.
- Defining and reviewing technical specifications from designers and vendors.
- Liaise with vendors, and ensure equipment specifications meet owner, class, and customer requirements.
- Ensure design and drawings meet owner, class, and customer requirements.
- Liaise with the designer and shipyard for vessel-related electrical, automation, and digitization matters.
- Evaluation/comparison of tender vessel requirements against new building/existing vessel specification
- Responsible for New Building vessel design and engineering, to ensure vessel design meets owner and client requirements and objectives.
- To ensure vessel design achieves cost efficiency.
- To ensure vessel design meets IMO and flag the latest regulations and client’s requirements.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience.
- Designer/shipyard engineering/Classification society relevant working experience
- Familiar with marine electrical, automation, and digitalization experience.
- Possesses a positive working attitude.
- Able to multi-task and manage a few projects at the same time.
- Able to work independently.
- Possesses self-motivation and determination.
