Electrical Engineer Heathrow T5

In the position of Electrical Engineer, you will need to undertake all electrical works within Terminal 5 at Heathrow airport an efficient and safe manner, with repairs undertaken as appropriate. This will mean ensuring that all planned maintenance is carried out in line with its scheduled date, that Health & Safety policies are adhered to.
Working hours: 7am- 4pm, with some night work required (2 or 3 times a month)
Main duties will including ensuring that all equipment and services are maintained and operated in a safe condition to comply with Health & Safety, monitor regular inspection procedures (preventative maintenance programme) of equipment. You will need to record and keep logs of inspection reports and remedial work and maintain a working knowledge of statutory regulations and to ensure awareness of all safety procedures. You will be responsible for undertaking electrical repairs and installations as appropriate, and reporting any defects at time of service visit.
The ideal candidate will have to hold one of these following qualifications; A valid GOLD JIB Card, an NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds 2360 parts 1+2, City & Guilds 2356 Level 3, a mechanical to Electrical conversion course, City & Guilds 2357- NVQ level 3 Diploma, Valid Gold ECS card (dependent on category), City & Guilds 2356-99 Experienced working. Or if you hold a current ESR card with les than 6 months in expiry or an appointment letter to attend the ESR course
