Electrical Engineer

QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum Diploma / Degree in any relevant Engineering or Computer/IT discipline.
• With at least 1-2 years performing Electrical and/or Electronics, or Automation Engineering Support with an intrinsic knowledge of PLC and systems.
• Experience in Factory Automation is an advantage.
• Knowledge in CADs skills such as Autocad, Pro/E, or Solidworks.
• Siemens Allen Bradley, Omron, Mitsubishi PLC background preferred.

• Able to direct software programming and development of documentation.
• Write application software to monitor equipment status, operation, and function.
• Ensure the system operates in conformance with specifications.
• Store, retrieve, and manipulate data for analysis of system capabilities and requirements.
• Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures.
• Modifies existing software to correct errors, adapt it to new hardware, and upgrade.
• Interfaces and improves performance.
• Analyse reports, maps, drawings and tests, and other data to plan and design work.
• Commissioning and testing of systems to meet customer specifications.
• Prepares installation (Electrical) for the offline machine.
• Performs acceptance test for machine prior to site installation.
• Provide technical direction and on-the-job training to drafters, designers, and other engineers.
• Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate program of assigned engineering work and projects.
• Documentation of the project for future references.
