ELECTRICAL ENGINEER - CONSTRUCTION

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant experience in the field of electrics
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in Amtech, Dialux, AutoCAD and MS Office Suite Software.
  • Good knowledge and proficiency in using Navisworks suite of tools.
  • Excellent level of attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities:

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Carrying out all aspects of electrical work to meet electrical and building regulations.
  • Working with the site manager to accurately forecast, plan and schedule work.
  • Completing certification, associated reports, documentation and quality assurance.
  • Prepare and Submit Technical Submittals for approval.
  • Liaise with vendors, suppliers, sub-contractors, specialist designers, manufacturers, etc. with respect to the specification, validation and value Engineering of products and equipment to be supplied to the project.
  • Develop and build project cable and cable termination schedules.
  • Engage in Pre-Construction Engineering activities and the production of information including, design development, construction details, technical submittals, sub-contracts, etc,
  • Provide technical support to the estimating, procurement, commercial, marketing and construction teams.
