Our Murarrie office have an exciting permanent full-time opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to our dynamic and efficient team. Candidates are required to be living locally or be willing to relocate to Brisbane from anywhere in Australia or New Zealand. Powertech are happy to discuss relation costs.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform FEED and Detailed Design for substation equipment and systems, including Protection Design, AC/DC Switchgear, Switchyard, Substation Building and Auxiliaries, Battery/ Battery Charger/UPS.
  • Conduct Power System Modelling and Analysis Studies for protection coordination, load flow, short circuit, harmonic and flicker, motor starting, transient stability, arc flash, lightning protection, and insulation coordination.
  • Design Earthing systems, including Step and Touch Potential, EPR, Earth Grid Design, and Portable Earthing.
  • Perform relay configuration, protection and metering scheme design, technical/economic feasibility studies, technical support for estimating and project framing, asset lifecycle engineering and analysis.
  • Assist in the development of engineering standards, processes, and systems and provide supervision and training to engineers and graduates.
