THE JOB

We offer a unique opportunity to participate in all relevant disciplines in large-scaled offshore wind projects within R&D design and implementation, where some of the tasks will be:

• Complete electrical design on foundations, transition pieces and substations.
• Detail design and calculations for electrical systems.
• Cooperating closely with the project team, clients, and stakeholders to deliver the best solution.
• Securing compliance with laws, regulations, norms, and standards.
• Possibility to run your own projects as project manager.

Your primary workplace will be our office located in Aalborg. Additionally, we have offices situated in Aarhus and Esbjerg. Expected travel days are approx. 20 per year.
Your reporting line will be to the Chief Operating Officer (COO).

EXPECTATIONS TO YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

To succeed in the position, we imagine that you possess a combination of the following competencies and experience:

• Educational background as electrical engineer (B.Sc. / M.Sc.) or other relevant electrical/technical education/background.
• Experience from the wind energy industry is an advantage.
• You possess strong communication skills which are valuable for presenting technical solutions, both internally within the team and externally to clients.
• You are able to identify actions needed to mitigate risks and can manage these actions together with all relevant stakeholders.
• Knowledge of high voltage equipment as MV/HV transformers, switchgears, cables and other related areas is an advantage.
• Microsoft Office super-user.
• Experience in relevant calculation tools.
• Can work with multiple projects at the same time without losing focus.
• Proficiency in English is a requirement.
