Description:

  • This role is responsible for inspecting, installing, repairing, and maintaining industrial electrical systems of both injection and blow molding machines and equipment.
  • Ensure quality and timely delivery of repairs and maintenance works, safety, cost-effective.
  • Have oversight and leadership of shift electrical maintenance team, including organizing the shift activities to support the various manufacturing activities and general electrical related issues in the company.
  • Collaborate across lines (engineering maintenance & production stakeholders) and with other team members as required to maintain cohesive, responsive team work that achieve production targets.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum academic qualification in National Diploma (Electrical / Electronics) from a recognized institution. City & Guilds (Engineering / Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation).
  • 3-6 years of electrical experience in production environment, preferably plastics industries.
  • Knowledge of Haitian and JagMohan machines is a plus.
  • A strong working knowledge of technical training, fault finding, troubleshooting techniques on Injection and Blow Molding or Oil processing Machines is a must.
  • Good communication (Written and Oral) skills.
  • High level of personal responsibility and accountability for results.
  • Good understanding of electrical, electronics and instrumentation processes.
  • Ability to interpret electrical, electronics and instrumentation processes.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize completing needs and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and conduct preventive maintenance on electrical system control equipment such as lighting, injection and blow machines, foiling machines, power supply, air compressors, pumps, servo motor and drive etc.
  • Inspects electrical systems, equipment, or components to identify faults, hazards, defects, or the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with NEC.
  • Improve daily electrical maintenance work to minimize machine breakdown and production downtime.
  • Prioritize daily work orders according to their level of importance to meet deadline.
  • Implement a total planned preventive maintenance program which follows manufacturer’s instructions and established procedures as designed.
  • Maintain an up to date records related to work performed by the team including uncompleted task, leftover materials/spare parts and proper handover to the next shift.
  • Ensure that team abide by safety regulations during manufacturing activities, keeping equipment in check to avoid electrical hazards that could cause harm to other.
  • Communicate with other shift head and production supervisors to inform them about completed work, equipment faults and best maintenance techniques to implement for maximum performance.
  • Perform any other assignment by unit head.
