ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING MANAGER

We are currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Electrical Engineering Manager in our Spindale, NC home office. EDUCATION/TRAINING

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Associate’s degree and/or Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering preferred
  • Relevant licenses or certifications preferred

EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in electrical engineering for large commercial and/or industrial construction projects. Other relevant experience in project engineering, project management, project controls, pre-fabrication, or estimating will also be considered.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AND/OR EXPECTATIONS

  • Must pass a mandatory pre-employment drug screen
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable means of transportation
  • Must be willing and able to relocate and/or commute to our Spindale, NC office location

Responsibilities:

  • Read, interpret, and apply construction documents, drawings, designs, and schematics
  • Develop designs and specifications for components of the electrical scope of work on commercial and industrial construction projects
  • Identify and implement opportunities for engineered solutions to installation issues
  • Experience and proficiency in the use of pre-fabrication for electrical systems installations
  • Help drive the efficiency and productivity of electrical installations on commercial construction projects
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, BIM, Revit, Microsoft Projects, Excel, Bluebeam, ProCore, and/or ConEst
  • Attention to detail, strong organization skills, and an ability to work collaboratively as a part of a team
  • Effectively manage an 8-10 person engineering department and support its further growth
