Description:

SKILLS /REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Electrical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience or professional training).
  • Proven experience in quotation calculation in the field of HV Tendering (including high and medium voltage).
  • Confident use of calculation software and tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and an eye for detail.
  • Efficient communication and good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organisational skills and good time management.
  • Knowledge of construction and installation contracts and relevant regulations.
  • Familiarity with electrical engineering standards and guidelines.
  • Willingness to travel
  • Excellent German and very good English skills.

Responsibilities:

YOUR TASKS:

  • Tendering for projects for the grid connection of large wind and solar parks as well as battery storage systems.
  • Working closely with project managers, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors to obtain accurate and up-to-date information regarding the scope of the project.
  • Requesting and comparing current market quotations for all major equipment.
  • Produce measures and counts for equipment take offs.
  • Review project descriptions, specifications and drawings to understand the scope of work, exact project requirements and delivery limits.
  • Regularly liaise with senior management and support junior team members.
  • Responsible for the preparation and presentation of regular reports.
  • Monitoring project progress and comparing actual costs to estimated costs.
  • Ensure up-to-date industry knowledge and industry trends and on new materials, construction methods and regulations that may impact cost estimates.
