As our new EI&C Engineer, you’ll be a vital part of the Industrial EI&C team who are changing the way we design and deliver major works to be carbon neutral and sustainable.

Your role will include:

• Knowledge of heavy industrial and process plant projects
• A fundamental knowledge of key Australian Standards
• Prior experience with client interfacing roles
• Experience in detailed design of electrical, instrumentation and control systems.
• Experience with power systems software.
• Preparing technical and fee proposals for tenders.

What are we looking for from you?

As well as experience in a similar engineering role previously. You would require having and demonstrating these:

• Completed a Degree in Electrical Engineering recognised by Engineers Australia.
• A minimum of 3 years’ post graduate experience delivering concept, FEED and detailed designs for process plant projects, energy sector, water sector or mining projects ensuring quality deliverables while meeting agreed schedules.
• Knowledge of ‘in-plant’ electrical distribution (MV and LV systems), motor control systems, PLC, SCADA and industrial networks.
• Applied knowledge of relevant standards including AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 3008.1.1 and AS/NZS 2067.
• Experience with Safety in Design practices, risk assessment, preparing proposals, project engineering and planning.
• Ability to travel and work on clients’ sites.
• Ability to proactively interact with clients, stakeholders, project managers, engineers, and designers from other disciplines to provide the best solution for clients’ requirements and deliver project deliverables with highest quality as per the schedule.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written to be able to interface with clients and internal stakeholders effectively.
