As the Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls Area Manager, you will be responsible for the safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations of the Oregon development factories, the development of new enabling, hardening, or energy conservation projects related to the electrical disciplines, the successful transfer of technologies to HVM sites within the network, and the support of construction ramps in Oregon and receiving factories.
In addition, you will manage employees and/or outside contractors who construct, maintain, and repair buildings, utilities systems, facilities systems, and/or install equipment and associated support systems. This position requires thorough knowledge of business practices and procedures to perform non repetitive, analytical work and provide solutions to a wide range of difficult problems.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Management and leadership of the electrical, instrumentation and controls groups.
  • Ownership for the development and execution of a reliability roadmap for each group.
  • Lead the operations team in unexpected situations such as safety events, operational impacts, and planned downtime events.
  • Partnering with other business groups including LTD, FCE, GSC, AIS, ATTD, and CS FFO peers.
  • Developing managers and senior engineering staff

This position is for the Oregon Site, relocation will be provided.

QUALIFICATIONS

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research, and relevant previous job and/or internship experience.
