Electrical Maintenance Engineer (Based in Jurong Island)

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Power Plant or Utilities plant environment

• Plan and schedule corrective and preventive maintenance works. Include liaising with operations, Original Equipment Manufacturer, Contractors, prioritize jobs, mobilize work force, spares and allocate resources.
• Lead technicians in implementing in preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Trouble shoot critical or major plant issues, participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) studies, plant improvement initiative, and drive cost management.
• Implement management initiatives to optimize the assets and seek to continuously improve on the methods, procedures and update with the latest developments in the market by adopting a suitable approach like proactive initiatives via predictive and preventive maintenance activities and default actions like failure finding, redesign and run to failure.
• Review budget, monitor spending against budget and control cost.
• Upkeep risk registers, take part in safety walk downs, implement safety initiatives and ensure that good safety practices are practiced by all parties’ maintenance work.
• Develop and establish maintenance procedures, risk assessment and method statements for all maintenance activities to ensure safe execution.
• Experience in Plant Fire System and knowledge in Electrical System such as MV Switch gear, LV MCC, UPS, Soft Starter, VSD.
• Successful candidate can be appointed as part of the Company Emergency Response Team (CERT) (training will be provided).
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
