THE COMPANY

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for a key client of ours within the process engineering industry. They are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to work as part of team of highly skilled team of multi skilled maintenance engineers based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. You will carry out day to day planned and reactive maintenance and a variety of semi to automated kit

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE ENGINEER:

  • Qualified to NVQ Level 3 electrical or equivalent such as; City and guilds – time served
  • Multi skilled with an electrical background
  • Experience of working with high tolerance machinery/FMCG environment (desirable)

Responsibilities:

  • Corrective maintenance – working on equipment such as; vacuums, conveyors, compressors, cranes and much more
  • Carry out effective repairs to machinery and ensure minimal downtime is achieved
  • Ensure all safety protocol is carried out correctly
  • Report all safety issues to the line manager
  • Maintain good service and support to ensure customer satisfaction
