EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing or related field.

EXPERIENCE

  • 4+ years of experience in a high-tech industry environment in service, development, or manufacturing (a combination of education and experience can be considered).
  • Experience developing and maintaining electronic fixtures to qualify PCBA assemblies.
  • Able to troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical systems using electrical schematics, DVM, oscilloscopes, function generators and spectrum analyzers
  • Experience with FMEA, Design for Manufacturability, Design for Assembly, and Design of Experiments
  • Demonstrated experience managing new product introductions and cross-functional projects
  • Able to plan and resolve issues that involve gaining the cooperation of cross-functional, multi-cultural groups and sites without damaging relationships
  • Experience using Product Document Management systems including Siemens Teamcenter
  • Experience in bringing technology solutions to improve the quality, efficiency, and cost of manufacturing and service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to effectively and impactfully report to multiple levels of the organization

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

  • Comfortable in multiple schematic and ECAD tools including Altium, PADs, and OrCAD.
  • Able to revise schematics, BOMs, and fabrication documentation for PCBA revisions
  • Knowledge of key technologies including vacuum, motion control, process automation, optics, and material selection
