Job Description
QUALIFICATIONS
- Three (3) years of relevant experience
- Attestation or diploma of college studies in civil engineering, electrical engineering or telecommunications
- Practical knowledge of AutoCAD software and MS Office suite
- Ability to work on various projects simultaneously and strong client focus and service
- Availability for short-term travel to work sites, up to 10% of the time
- Fluency in oral and written French
- Valid Driver’s License and access to a vehicle
- Knowledge of geographical information systems (GIS) – an asset
- Knowledge of PLSCADD – an asset

Responsibilities:
- Visit sites to determine the nature of the work required
- Carry out field surveys
- Design overhead and/or underground power distribution networks
- Produce drawings using AutoCAD software
- Work with geographical information systems (GIS)
- Carry out research on property rights and prepare easement requests
- Estimate costs, material quantities and manpower needs
- Obtain permits from the appropriate authorities (municipal, ministerial, etc.)
- Ensure on-site (full-time) or occasional work supervision
- Ensure close monitoring of projects
- Work closely with clients
