Farnsworth Group is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer/Designer in our Greenwood Village, CO (Denver DTC) office. We have an immediate opening for a mid to senior-level Electrical Design Engineer within our Denver Electrical team. This role would lead the day-to-day production of commercial, municipal, advanced manufacturing and technology, and other technically complex projects.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

  • Electrical engineer/designer with 4-12 years of experience in technically complex system design.
  • BS in Electrical Engineering. Professional Engineer License (PE) is preferred
  • Wide range of design experience, including industrial Power and MV systems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically with others and work on multiple, simultaneous projects.
  • Ability to solve complex power engineering problems.
  • Experience in Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
  • Working knowledge of codes and standards associated with electrical power, including National Electrical Code, National Electrical Safety Code, and applicable IEEE Standards.
  • Ability to pass background checks and willingness to comply with immunization requirements that our industrial clients may require to access their facilities.
  • Ability to complete occasional travel to client sites in support of projects.
  • NCEES Record holder preferred.
  • Knowledge of Navisworks software preferred. Knowledge of SKM PowerTools or ETap preferred.
