Phifer Incorporated is searching for an Electrical Engineer to work within our Project Engineer group. Our engineers work independently on different projects, so we’re looking for an individual that is dependable, a self-starter and is comfortable in making decision. Guidance is always available from the Engineering Manager and others within the group. The Electrical Project engineer is responsible for 3 main areas of responsibility; electrical engineering project support, Phifer utilities monitoring and managing our Gas Train Safety program. Responsibilities in these areas will require design work, project coordination, project installation, startup assistance, trouble shooting and coordinating repair work. The Electrical Project Engineer may periodically be called upon by other Phifer support groups for maintenance support, repair support, and involvement with modifications to existing equipment. The Electrical Project Engineer may also offer support to Safety in the area of Electrical Safety.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited College or University or enrollment in such program.
The candidate must be authorized to work in the U.S.

ACCEPTABLE TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

  1. Prefer 5+ years experience as an Electrical Engineer in a manufacturing facility
  2. Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Autocad applications
