ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • 3 Years Experience in Electrical QA/QC with Experience of working on Civil Nuclear, Defence or COMAH sites is preferable.
  • 5373 Electrical Apprenticeship or equivalent – e.g.City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation.
  • Level 3 in Initial and Periodic Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
  • Ability to produce and review Quality Assurance and Quality Control Documentation – upfront and backend documentation.
  • Ability to self-lead / work with minimal supervision.
  • Prepared to travel nationally to provide oversight of multiple electrical sub-contractors.
  • P4 Pass / SC Clearance.

Responsibilities:

  • The role will be working closely with a multi-disciplined quality team to deliver work to required standards.
  • Working within the boundaries of JFS Management Systems and Client / National Regulatory Requirements.
  • Working collaboratively and effectively with the valued JFS supply chain.
  • Manage the Supply Chain Quality, inclusive of all pre-qualification assessments, supporting supply chain audits, supply chain performance and general day-to-day management of the supply chain. Monitor the selection of and management systems of suppliers and subcontractors as part of Vendor assessment, to assure the company and its customers of the competence of suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Providing upfront electrical QA / QC input into design and specifications.
  • Provision of tier one inspection for internally delivered works and tier 2 oversight inspection of sub-contracted works
  • This role involves is primarily Sellafield Site based however it may include some local or national travel.
  • Production and review of upfront paper work such as ITPS,.Cable Cards, ICLs, etc.
  • Production of LTR packages to support handover
