Description:

The Electrical Service Attendant performs preventive maintenance and minor repairs of electrical equipment throughout the site to ensure safe, reliable and efficient operation of electrical equipment.
What will you be doing!
- Inspect and service electrical equipment (eg light bulb replacement, greasing of electric motors) by oiling, greasing and associated tasks involved with preventive maintenance. Dispose of used materials in compliance with CNL requirements.
- Assist tradespersons when required.
- Document maintenance activities by completing all pertinent paper work such as MP5 job cards to ensure that an accurate maintenance history is available for review and or audit purposes.
- Responsible for maintaining tools and equipment provided to the electricians to ensure they are in good working order and returned to their respective tool cribs or storage area in a timely manner.
- Maintain good housekeeping practices of all work areas, tools, and equipment, adhering to provincial, federal, and CNL regulations in order to provide a safe and efficient working environment.
- Attend monthly safety meetings and immediately report any safety concerns and/or infractions. Apply Event Free Tools and Pre-Job Brief information throughout the execution of assigned work and model this behavior and knowledge to others.
- Other duties as assigned by your manager.
