Description:

As an Electrical Specialist , you will play an important role within our project team, focusing on electrical systems, automation, control systems, and dynamic positioning (DP) systems for offshore vessels and units. Based in our Arendal office, you’ll be at the core of our operations. QUALIFICATIONS:
- Background as an Electrical Engineer (MSc or BSc) and/or experience from projects or operation of vessels / offshore units with high voltage electrical systems.
- Bring experience from authority/class, marine industry, offshore unit operation, or yard/supplier industry.
- Demonstrate experience in the design, construction, operation, procedures, and maintenance of marine electrical systems (high and low voltage), automation and control systems, as well as follow-up/commissioning of new building projects.
- Good knowledge of legislation, standards, and codes applicable to the offshore and marine industries.
- Experience from FPSOs is beneficial, but not required.
- Good with communication in both Scandinavian and English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities:
- Be part of the Technical Authority Team verifying regulation compliance for Floating Storage Unit and potentially other offshore units.
- Be part of our specialist resource team for supporting units in operation, newbuildings, and modifications within your field of expertise.
- Play a key role in developing green projects for our vessels.
- Support our organization in growth in offshore unit operation.
