Electrical Superintendent

? Supervise, tracking and planning of maintenance on all plants
? Supervise maintenance team and control maintenance costs.
? Drive skills training, succession planning and development of reports
? Have a good Electrical fault finding ability
? Be knowledgeable with regards to PLC analysis and programming, preferably ABB (AC 800M )
? Be knowledgeable or able to interpret analytical fault diagnostic software like IBA Analyser or Historian.
? Must be proficient in AC multi drive applications
? Ensure safety, housekeeping and legal compliance of Safal Steel.
? Ensure compliance with company policies such as time management and discipline at work.
? Responsible for manpower planning and approved budgeted overtime management etc.
? Safety management (Total safety system, investigations, audits, statutory compliance and equipment)
? Training (Manuals, audits etc.)
? Ensure optimum team productivity.
? Provide support and guidance in effective problem solving and root cause analysis
? Continuous improvement of work methods and productivity
? Liaison with other maintenance sections and service providers
? Proficient in official business language, good written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to communicate efficiently to team members.
? Suitable candidate will required to perform Electrical Technician and Electrical Engineer duties when required
Grade 12/NQF4, Trade tested Electrician or Millwright (Red Seal from approved training Centre);

Higher National Diploma; B.Eng or B.Sc Electrical Engineering

• Minimum 6-8 Years of extensive experience in the Maintenance Environment
• SAP system experience (other operational computer programs would be an added advantage)
• Computer literate (Word, Excel, MS Projects, Power Point)
• Preferably have experience as a legal Appointee
