WHAT SKILLS & EXPERIENCE YOU NEED:

• Previous experience as an Electrical metering Technician is highly beneficial but training can be offered to the right candidate.
• Possession of WTC 2 & 5 certification will be highly regarded.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to adapt to changing environments and effectively lead a team.
• Commitment to safety protocols and industry best practices.
• Flexibility in terms of working hours and travel as needed.

THE ROLE:

As the Electrical Team Lead at Entelar Group, you will lead a team of Electrical Service electricians in upgrading residential and commercial sites with 4G smart meter technology. Collaborating closely with professionals, you will ensure a seamless transition to our 4G smart meter upgrades. Your responsibilities will encompass leading the installation, maintenance, and replacement of smart meters in residential and commercial settings. The role is 50/50 - office/field based.

WHAT YOU’RE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Lead and coordinate a team of electricians for efficient project goal achievement.
• Ensure adherence to electrical regulations and protocols for safe and effective installations.
• Provide excellent service by addressing customers questions and concerns.
• Participate in and facilitate training programs to enhance the team’s proficiency in our product offerings.
• Obtain necessary certifications from the end client to ensure compliance and expertise.
• Health and Safety obligations of electricians disconnecting consumer supplies from Vector pits and pillars.
• Ensuring stock management of various meter types and other sundries from our suppliers.
• Liaising with the MEP (metering equipment provider) to ensure adequate service requests are raised from electricity retailers for the following months installs.
• Liaising with the MEP and rectifying any issues, queries or reworks raised.
• Technical support to all field staff
• Running weekly toolbox talks with staff and dealing with issues raised.
