Electrical Technician

As a Electrical Technician at Ampotech, you will work with the project team to support the planning and delivery of smart building and industrial energy management projects. The scope of work includes conducting site surveys, preparing devices and materials, supporting Project Engineers and subcontractors on-site, and preparing documentation such as test reports, method statements, and drawings. In this role, you will have an opportunity to work with solar photovoltaic systems, electricity metering and building management systems, and industrial sensors for equipment such as HVAC, pumps, boilers, and other specialized process equipment.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in M&E engineering, facilities management, or a relevant field
• Familiarity with electrical code of practice and distribution systems (e.g. DB panel)
• Familiarity with SCADA and/or building management systems
• Passion to work with hands-on tasks
• Responsible and eager to learn about industrial IoT
• Experience in offshore and marine industry is a plus
