Aurelia Metals Limited (ASX: AMI) (‘Aurelia’) is an Australian gold and base metals mining and exploration company. We own and operate two underground mines and processing facilities in New South Wales (NSW) and have an enviable portfolio of organic growth prospects in the region.
Our Peak Mine comprises several underground polymetallic (gold, lead, zinc, copper, and silver) and an 800 thousand tonnes per annum (ktpa) processing plant. The Mine is located in the northern Cobar Basin in western NSW, a short distance from the historical town of Cobar.

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

Embark on a challenging yet rewarding journey as an Underground Electrical Person with Aurelia Metals. You’ll be instrumental in maintaining and enhancing our electrical systems, both on the surface and in the depths of our underground operations. Your expertise will be vital in the upkeep of our processing plants, hoisting and crushing systems, and other critical infrastructure.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Uphold high standards in electrical work, aligned with AS3000 and our Electrical Engineering Control Plan (MECP).
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and statutory compliance inspections on all electrical infrastructures.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical equipment efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Expertise in PLC programming and fault-finding.
  • Maintain accurate records and data entry in Pronto and other software.
  • Efficiently manage requisitioning of parts and tagging for repairs.
  • Uphold exemplary customer service within interdepartmental interactions.Maintain high standards of workshop housekeeping and tool management.
