We are currently seeking talented and experienced Electricians specializing in Exterior Lighting Replacement to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in electrical work, particularly in the replacement and installation of exterior lighting fixtures for residential and commercial projects. As an Electrician at New City Contracting, you will play a key role in enhancing the safety, security, and aesthetics of our construction projects.

Responsibilities:

• Replace and install exterior lighting fixtures according to project specifications, electrical codes, and industry best practices
• Remove old lighting fixtures and wiring, ensuring proper disposal and compliance with environmental regulations
• Install new lighting fixtures, wiring, and controls, including conduits, cables, and mounting hardware
• Test and troubleshoot electrical systems to ensure proper functionality and safety
• Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and other trades to coordinate exterior lighting replacement activities and meet project deadlines
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and electrical equipment

Qualifications:

• Journeyman Electrician certification or equivalent experience
• Previous experience in electrical work, with a focus on exterior lighting replacement or similar projects
• Knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical specifications
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
