ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION

  • Tasks will include, but not limit to:
  • Provide technical support within the profession to engineering, construction, MC, and commissioning, ensuring compliance with relevant rules, regulations, and standards
  • Inform management of all potential HS&E issues and business threats early
  • Focus on HSE within the daily activities.
  • Ensure all activities conform to laws, regulations, contractual requirements, and the client Management System Manual and Client specification requirement.
  • Provide E&I solutions, undertake investigations, and recommend system improvements.
  • Represent Engineering at the Yard, identify solutions, any actions, punches, queries, etc., raised at the yard toward Engineering for EIT discipline.
  • Ensure all activities conform to laws, regulations, contractual requirements, and client governing documentation.
  • Define, review, participate and lead project work within the area of responsibility.
  • Actively participate in improving work procedures to optimize work processes.
  • Participate in discipline checks on modifications and new revisions of relevant drawings.
  • Participate within Mech. Completion and Commissioning activities

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Technical education at the bachelor level or higher within the Electrical Engineering discipline or equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience within engineering disciplines, along with site support experience
  • Recent experience working on FPSO redeployment or new build projects.
  • Experience in a similar role on North Sea projects is an advantage
  • Strong interpersonal skills applied to a multidisciplinary project team
  • Organized, systematic, and flexible
  • Fluent written and verbal English skills
  • Advantage for local candidates.
