Description:

Our client is a leading provider of innovative power supply solutions, committed to delivering sustainable and efficient power solutions to our clients. They are currently seeking a skilled Electro/Mechanical Assembly Team Leader with expertise in electrical product modification, particularly in fine soldering, to work at their RG7 location.
ELECTRO/MECHANICAL ASSEMBLY TEAM LEADER REQUIREMENTS:
- A background in a similar hands-on manufacturing role
- Educated to HNC Level or equivalent in Electrical and/or Electro-Mechanical engineering
- Excellent communication skills for effective internal and external stakeholder engagement
- Strong knowledge of electrical assembly and testing, along with understanding manufacturing techniques and product applications
- Proficiency in soldering to IPC-A-610 standards
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for technical detail
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately
Responsibilities:
- Review product design and planning processes, tools, and materials for production
- Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work orders
- Mount electrical components into lighting products, routing cables, and making connections
- Conduct functionality and safety testing of modified products
- Verify product compliance with specifications before shipment
- Develop assembly and test processes for new products
- Produce rework instructions and test specifications
- Manage production schedule and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives
