We are looking for an Electro/Mechanical Maintenance (Nuclear industry) for our facility in Toronto, Ontario.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Licensed Industrial Electrician (required)
  • Licensed Millwright (preferred)
  • Post-Secondary Diploma in a relevant technical field
  • Computer literacy: MS-Windows, MS-Office, Internet Explorer, Maintenance Connection (or similar CMMS)
  • Ability to research machinery problems and solutions using written (vendor catalogues and reference manuals) and on-line resources (vendor web-sites and on-line documentation)
  • Ability to read and understand written and on-line machinery manuals for the purpose of troubleshooting and repairing equipment
  • Ability to “plug in” to a PLC and troubleshoot issues using ladder logic in a timely manner
  • Ability to troubleshoot motor control circuits
  • Panel building experience would be considered an asset
  • Knowledge of the electrical code
  • Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, shaft and bearing assemblies would be an asset
  • Knowledge of machining fundamentals

    The base hourly range for this position in Ontario at the start of employment is expected to be between $42.96-$47.73 per hour. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain industrial equipment, work on projects, and provide input for process improvements.
  • Attention to details and the ability to troubleshoot problems.
  • Designing and building control panels to calibrations
  • Performing preventative maintenance tasks as scheduled.
  • Experience with electronics, PLC’s (Allen Bradley, Siemens) and working on systems with voltages up to 600V.
