Electronic Assembler

KEY REQUIREMENTS -

• Experience with working with electrical products e.g. re-wiring, assembling and testing.
• Able to use basic hand tools e.g. screwdrivers
• Experience in soldering
• Great attitude and willingness to learn
• Must have a valid driver’s license with own reliable transport!!
• Must be able to pass a National Police Check with no disclosable outcomes!!
• Must be flexible for overtime
• Must be able to work full time hours

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES -

• This is a casual position that will require you to work 5 days a week with some overtime during the company’s peak periods including some weekend work.
• Monday to Friday, 5:00am - 1:06pm.
• You will need to be reliable and punctual as the company works on completion deadlines.

ABOUT THE ROLE -

• Assembling, modifying and re-wiring electronic parts e.g. push buttons, control buttons, emergency stop buttons, circuit breakers, emergency lighting kits
• Assembling manual changeover and automatic changeover switches.
• Ensuring stock levels are managed and controlled effectively.
• Receiving and dispatching goods.
• Updating and maintaining computerized & paper based administrative records
