We are looking for (m/f/d)

ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONICAL INSTRUCTOR:

  • Knowledge of medium-speed diesel/gas or DF engines (Caterpillar/MaK or comparable engines)
  • High level of confidence in electrical and control engineering and the corresponding measurements.
  • Knowledge and experience of monitoring and control equipment of CAT Engines is helpful.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide practical and theoretical training in English (95%) or German (5%) to customer or dealer technicians as well as Caterpillar employees.
  • Implement / Conduct the practical and theoretical training at the Caterpillar Engine Training Center in Kiel, on site (international) or virtual, via Microsoft Teams.
  • Create new course content, training material (Presentations and handouts, etc.) and practical exercises.
  • Planning, developing and installation of new training equipment.
  • Willing to work on projects to develop new training tools and methods.
  • Familiarization with new technical solutions and technologies.
  • Troubleshooting, updating and modification of training engines as well as other training related systems
  • Actual training has a high focus on the practical approach of engine work with all involved parts and tools incl. safe handling. Routine in engine works is mandatory.
