Travaillant en collaboration avec les concepteurs électronique, le candidat participera au développement de produits associés aux systèmes de détection d’incendies, comprenant des panneaux de contrôles d’alarmes incendies, des cartes réseau, des systèmes de communication audio, des unités de détection et d’avertissement, etc. Ce poste offre un travail stimulant avec des opportunités intéressante dans tous les domaines de l‘électronique, tant analogique que numérique.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Electronics or equivalent
- 3 to 7 years of experience as a laboratory technician in a research & development center
- Have the capacity to learn quickly and be results-oriented
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong team player with well-developed interpersonal skills
- Effective communication skills, oral and written
- Must be bilingual in French and English

Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Working with the electrical designers, the candidate will participate to the development of electronic cards used in commercial & industrial fire alarm products including fire alarm control panels, networking, audio communication, as well as monitoring and notification devices. This is a challenging position with interesting opportunities in all areas of analog and digital electronics.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work from functional and pre-certification test plans to execute testing on electronic prototypes and collect data for analysis
- Work from schematics and other technical drawings to perform low level hardware verification and troubleshooting of analog and digital circuits
- Set up and configure fire alarm panels and different peripherals to be used during prototype testing
- Use and maintain test equipment including oscilloscope, signal generators, logic and spectrum analysers, environmental chamber, immunity testing equipment and many more
- Perform reworks on prototypes and realize test boards when required
