ELECTRONICS ENGINEER – CHESTERFIELD – SALARY NEGOTIABLE

Chase & Holland are on the search for a creative and passionate Graduate with Electronics Engineering experience to join a market leading client within their busy New Product Design team in Chesterfield.
You will be making a huge difference in the market by bringing your skills and innovative flare to the industry, with enthusiasm and passion for design and ability to manage a variety of projects at one time. Your main responsibility will be to develop your own new ideas and bring to the market new electronic products.

Responsibilities of the Electronics Engineer:

  • Manage a range of development projects from beginning to end, identifying new market opportunities and ideas to meet emerging needs
  • Provide support to the manufacturing and sales teams by responding to customer queries and supporting planning
  • Have a concise knowledge of the current product range
  • Resolve issues using the technical support programme
  • Take an active part in launching new ranges and refreshing products
  • Create specifications, designs, and prototypes
  • Accurately brief manufacturing and suppliers ensuring deadlines are met
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers whilst sourcing necessary new ones

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Experience within manufacturing techniques and concepts with knowledge of design
  • Experience designing PCBS, writing firmware and hardware design
  • Knowledge and experience designing products with embedded electronics
  • Analytical and ability to spot trends
  • CAD Design experience is desirable
