Fast-growing, innovative, technology-led design and manufacturer, based in Sydney is looking for Electronics Design Engineers (Analogue) to join the team, working on the development of cutting-edge technologies for the domestic and professional consumer markets. YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

You will have a degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent, plus

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as electronics design engineer in mixed signal circuit design
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in hardware bring up and test
• In depth understanding of the principles behind analogue electronics (essential)
• Good understanding of design for certification/compliance
• Experience with pre-compliance testing
• Experience using Altium
• Experience in EMC testing
• Exposure to micro soldering for circuit board
• Experience in troubleshooting issues with rf and noise

THE ROLE

The Electronics Design Engineers are responsible for providing electronics designs that support the product development and product support goals of the company. The role requires electronic engineering technical knowledge plus an understanding of collaborative working with software design, mechanical design and systems engineering colleagues. The Electronics Design Engineers ensure that electronics designs are produced in accordance with the company design process and are developed to meet stringent requirements.

• Design electronics system hardware and embedded software, from concept, prototyping to final design for volume production
• Contribute to the development of innovative and exciting new products
• Drive requirements generation, schematic and PCB design, prototype debugging characterisation and verification of electrical designs to ensure products are of superior quality
• Make small changes to test firmware and create and update scripts for automation and testing
• Stay abreast of technology advancements in electronics
• Work on leading-edge technologies to support the growth of the company as a global industry leader in research and innovation
• Generate high quality design documentation
• Support process improvements to help maintain effective and efficient research and development procedures
• Build automated testing equipment for PCB panels used in technology production
• Design and build prototypes, test jigs, fixtures or test systems
• Perform design testing, verification, and validation
• Documentation, including component specs, work instructions, user instructions, and other engineering documentations
• Complying with all obligations under Work Health and Safety Legislation
