Electronics engineer (new AOP)

REQUIREMENTS

• University/higher professional education in a technical direction
• Previous experience with manufacturing processes and knowledge of methods and tools how to improve them.
• Good insight about electron and ion beam microscopy
• Self starter, used to taking initiative
• Pragmatic and solution driven
• Enjoys taking responsibility and leading new initiatives
• Fluent in the English language – in both verbal and written forms
• Ability to occasionally travel regionally and internationally (10%)

• Provide technical support from product release into manufacturing through end of service.
• Develop and maintain technical product and process documentation using company standards, tools, and processes.
• Conduct detailed analysis of manufacturing processes aiming for improvement in production efficiency and product quality.
• Support the supply chain with engineering expertise. This includes the analysis of parts for reliability, manufacturability, vendor qualification support and supplier technical quality issues.
• Support Global Technical Support department as necessary. May require some on-site support at customers.
• Perform hands-on assembly, testing and training of personnel as required during project work (i.e., assembly, test or measurement, problem solving).
• Build excellent relations with collaborating departments.
• Build excellent relations with our suppliers.
