With a commitment to excellence and a passion for pushing technological boundaries, we are seeking a talented Electrical Electronics Engineer to join our dynamic team at our facility in Wath upon Dearne, Rotherham.
Position Overview: As an Electrical Electronics Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems and components within our manufacturing processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of electronics into our products, contributing to the advancement of our cutting-edge technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Design, prototype, and test electrical systems and components, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Performing a variety of engineering functions associated, working with the technical staff to utilise design elements.
- Soldering & PCB assembly
- Electrical panel design, assembly testing.
- Electrical & Electronic design, Including LCV systems, embedded systems, and design of EX systems.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers, software developers, and other stakeholders to integrate electronics into overall product design.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to identify potential challenges and propose effective solutions.
- Perform troubleshooting and debugging of electrical systems, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues as they arise.
- Generate detailed documentation including specifications, schematics, and test procedures.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, actively contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential: -
- Degree level or equivalent in an appropriate field.
- Understand how to draw schematics on 2D CAD packages.
- Understanding of 3D CAD Packages Eg fusion
- Knowledge of analogue and digital systems and the ability to interpret and document circuit designs.
- Valid driving licence
- Soldering experience
- Attention to detail
Desirable :-
- Basic understanding of PLC programming and operation.
- Basic understanding of programming language eg. ‘C’ and ‘C==’
- Electronic/electrical isolation techniques
- Knowledge of micro-controller & programming
- Basic panel design, layout, build and testing experience for single and 3 phase.
- Basci understanding on AC & DC electric motors.
