Responsibilities:

THE PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

As Reshape Biotech expands, we need an Electronics Engineer to bolster our Hardware Development team. In this role, you’ll be pivotal in designing and developing embedded electronic systems and robotic technologies that are fundamental to our lab automation and production equipment. Together with a tight-knit team you will be ensuring the robustness and scalability of our hardware products as well as ensureing that our innovations not only meet but exceed the industry’s highest standards. Together you will be tasked with ensuring that our hardware runs smoothly for our global high-profile biotech customers enabling us to help them set new standards for bio product development and solve some of the world’s most important challenges.

THIS IS WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Developing and iterate on electronics and firmware designs for our lab automation robots.
  • Designing and documenting new electronic systems, including schematic design and PCB layout.
  • Developing, implementing and testing firmware for our robotics systems. For instance automated calibration, testing procedures and new product features. We are mostly utilizing languages such as C/C++ and Python.
  • Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration and functionality of our products.
  • Providing advanced technical support for product deployment and troubleshooting, ensuring customer satisfaction and product reliability.
