The salary range for this role is 62,000-65,000 NZD per annum.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma (or equivalent) in Electronics.
A minimum of 3 years hands-on experience with SMT assembly equipment and processes.
Proficient in soldering and rework techniques.
Strong understanding of electronic circuitry and components.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Familiarity with PCB design and layout.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.

HELLA has around 36,000 employees at more than 125 locations worldwide and generated consolidated sales of € 6.3 billion in the fiscal year 2021/2022.
This is a full-time permanent position (40hrs) located in Waihi, Waikato and is a day shift (6AM-14.30PM). We welcome overseas applicants, however, please note that SMT manufacturing experience is crucial for this role.

YOUR TASKS

Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot SMT assembly equipment.
Perform soldering and rework on electronic components and PCB assemblies.
Perform functional tests to ensure product performance is to specification.
Conduct quality control inspections to ensure product specifications are met.
Diagnose and repair PCB assemblies and equipment.
Assist in the development and improvement of manufacturing processes.
