Centerra maintains a central office in Kaiserslautern with additional locations throughout Germany. Our long-established country presence has allowed us to maintain and grow long-standing and positive relationships with German business, local officials and authorities, and local companies and suppliers. During our over 25 years of continuous experience working in Germany, Centerra has and continues to manage and operate numerous U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) contracts and has developed an excellent reputation and partnering with the US customers. By leveraging our existing infrastructure and compliance systems, we bring knowledge of German regulations, labor laws, taxes, and existing vendor relationships. In addition, we are ISO 9001 (quality), ISO 14001(environmental), and OHSA 18001 (work safety) certified company. Centerra GmbH currently manages Base Operation Support (BOS) contracts, military housing, facility maintenance and vehicle fleet maintenance contracts throughout Germany for the US Government. Centerra also manages and operates Security contracts and a Flooring company in support of commercial contract.

EDUCATION:

• Certificate for Electrical Meister
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field

QUALIFIKATIONEN:

• Nachgewiesene Erfahrung als zertifizierter Elektromeister.
• Solide Erfahrung mit elektrischen Systemen, Komponenten und Sicherheitsstandards.
• Fähigkeit zur Interpretation von technischen Zeichnungen, Entwürfen und Schemata.
• Kenntnisse der deutschen elektrotechnischen Vorschriften und Regeln.
• Fortgeschrittene Erfahrung mit elektrischen Tests und Fehlersuche.
• Technisch versiert: Beherrschung von Microsoft Office und gute Excel-Kenntnisse
• Ausgeprägte Fähigkeiten zur Problemlösung und Entscheidungsfindung.
• Ausgezeichnete manuelle Geschicklichkeit und körperliche Ausdauer.
• Gute Kommunikations- und Teamarbeitsfähigkeiten.
• Gültiger Führerschein.
• Fließende Beherrschung der deutschen und englischen Sprache.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience as a certified Meister Electrician.
• Solid experience of electrical systems, components, and safety standards.
• Able to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
• Knowledge of German electrical codes and regulations.
• Advanced experience with electrical testing and troubleshooting.
• Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong Excel skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent manual dexterity and physical stamina.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Fluency in German and English.

This is a full-time position located in Stuttgart, Germany. As the certified Meister Electrician, you will be responsible for ensuring all electrical operations and maintenance are conducted and completed in accordance with all German regulations and polices, as well as abiding by the US Government regulations and policies on the US military garrisons. Will be responsible to check and verify and as needed to perform electrical and system installations, maintenance, and repairs. Will oversee troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues, inspecting electrical systems and equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Additionally, you may be required to provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians.
