Description:

Vancouver Talmud Torah is currently recruiting Judaic teachers for the 2024/2025 school year.
Vancouver Talmud Torah is an Early Childhood to Grade 7 Jewish community day school fostering Jewish identity and literacy with a strong emphasis on producing students who will engage the world through Jewish values. Rigor, excellence, innovation and creativity are integral to the learning experience at VTT. Our school serves families from a diverse range of Jewish backgrounds and religious practices. We are Western Canada’s largest Jewish community day school and have more than 100 years of experience!

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong background in Judaic Studies
  • Current certification or eligible for certification with the TRB.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education.
  • Commitment to students and to supporting their individual learning needs.
  • Skill in differentiating instruction and fostering a collaborative and creative environment with faculty and staff.
  • Ability to use a wide range of learning strategies and teaching styles according to the needs of the class and the students.
  • A commitment to excellence in teaching, collaboration and ongoing professional growth.
  • A proficiency with using technology to enhance the curriculum.
  • Excellent communication, creative problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Support the mission, vision and values of our school.
