Elementary Physical Education Teacher

East Central Alberta Catholic Separate School Division invites applications for the position of 1.0 FTE Physical Education Teacher at Blessed Sacrament School in Wainwright, Alberta.
This is a full-time temporary contract replacing maternity leave. Duties are to commence on August 26, 2024 and the contract will terminate on June 27, 2025.
Individuals exhibiting the following education, characteristics or interests are encouraged to apply:
Bachelor of Education
Ability to teach Physical Education to elementary students and other subjects assigned by the principal
Focus on high quality, student-centered learning
Ability to collaborate with colleagues and to exercise servant leadership
Willing to be involved in extra-curricular activities (coaching or clubs) would be an asset
Able to serve and live as an example of Jesus Christ to all
Applicants with a St. Joseph’s College (U of A) Certificate of Catholic Education is an asset
