The Mountain View Union Elementary School District is seeking a dynamic and innovative teacher with an elementary teaching license or the ability to obtain one to join its team. The grade assignment for this position is expected to be in Grade 4 at Hardwick Elementary School.The ideal candidate will have a: - Passion for inspiring and working with elementary students- Strong understanding of child development, growth mindset, and trauma-informed practices- Commitment to building strong relationships, preventative classroom management, and active differentiation. - Working knowledge of researched supported best practices for early literacy instruction- Working knowledge of Bridges MathematicsMountain View Union Elementary School District (or Mountain View) is comprised of the towns of Hardwick, Woodbury, Greensboro, and Stannard. Students typically attend the town in which they reside, with Stannard students attending on the Greensboro campus.
School choice is an option within Mountain View. Hardwick Elementary School is located in Hardwick, VT, and serves students in grades preK-6. The school population is approximately 210 students
