We are working with a rapidly growing investment management firm in Abu Dhabi that is looking to hire an EM Corporate Credit Analyst (min 5-7 years experience) to support the lead portfolio manager in running an EM Fixed Income Fund, which trades across the EM spectrum, with a focus on EM HY.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 5-7 years experience as an EM corporate credit analyst (with CEEMEA & LatAm coverage being a major plus)
• Experience looking across multiple sectors and geographies, with experience looking at HY names (prior coverage of EM financials is a big plus)
• Good understanding of macro is a plus but not a hard requirement
• Experience generating both long and long/short trade ideas in the credit space (preferred but not required)
• Intellectual curiosity
• Experience looking at CEEMEA/LatAm names (with EM being the focus)
• Buy-Side and Sell-Side backgrounds will both be considered
• Strong Academic background

While the fund can take positions across the cap structure and all major EM markets, the ideal candidate will preferably have a HY background and experience looking at CEEMEA and LatAM, as well as multiple sectors (with financials being a major plus). Buy-side and sell-side backgrounds will both be considered.
The fund has a hedge fund-style investment approach, with high portfolio turnover and short investment time horizons in a highly unconstrained environment.
This is a great opportunity for a talented EM Credit Analyst who would like to work alongside an experienced PM where they can have a large impact on investment performance, while also being part of a fast-growing business.
The ideal candidate will come from an asset manager, sell-side, or a rating agency.
Abu Dhabi is a lovely city and gradually turning into a top-tier global financial hub, with many well-respected financial institutions relocating to the city. Earnings would be subject to zero income tax, which also makes this an opportunity to build up wealth at a much faster pace than some of the other financial hubs around the world, while also having the opportunity to explore nearby countries and learn about the culture.
