Description:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in embedded systems design, including microcontrollers, PCB design, and sensors.
  • Strong knowledge of electronics, embedded systems, and hardware design principles.
  • Proficiency in PCB design tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle, KiCad) and simulation tools.
  • Experience with microcontroller programming (e.g., ARM, PIC, AVR) and embedded programming languages (e.g., C, C++).
  • Familiarity with sensor technologies (e.g., LIDAR, ultrasonic, cameras, IMUs) and their integration into robotic systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Key Responsibilities:
    Design and develop embedded electronic systems for autonomous mobile robots, including microcontrollers, PCBs, and sensors. Collaborate with software and mechanical engineering teams to develop and integrate control systems, algorithms, and sensor interfaces.
    Develop and maintain schematic designs, PCB layouts, and component selections for new and existing robotic systems.
    Conduct tests and simulations to verify and validate the performance of embedded systems and components.
    Debug and troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and provide recommendations for improvements.
    Participate in design reviews and provide technical guidance on electronic system designs.
    Develop and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, test plans, and reports.
