EDUCATION
- B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering
EXPERIENCE
- Min. 5 years of FPGA design experience.
- Proficiency with Intel/Altera FPGA design/simulation tool chain.
- Good understanding of FPGA design and simulation.
- Hands-on use and knowledge of system verilog, Matlab/Simulink FPGA design or High Level Synthensis.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
- Interest in working with low frequency, high power RF.
- Ability to work in a medium volume production environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of industry protocols such as PCIe, SPI, I2C.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering preferred
- Experience with microcontrollers is a plus.
- Experience with scientific instrumentation and/or with a medical device company is a plus
- Development of products under a quality system that meets ISO13485 and FDA regulations is preferred

Responsibilities:
- Work with a multi-disciplinary team to design FPGA based precision analog and low frequency RF systems for medical devices and scientific instruments.
- Apply these efforts to proof-of-concept experiments, product enhancements, and new product development
- Develop and maintain documentation for FPGA designs and systems.
