Position Overview
Primary Responsibilities

In partnership with the Global Head of Client Marketing, the Channel Marketing Lead will:

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies across both the EMEA Institutional and Global Wealth businesses in order to help Apollo expand it’s reach and acquire new clients.
  • Create and implement marketing strategies that target Institutional clients, in addition to Family Offices, Broker Dealers and Private Banks.
  • Possess a deep understanding of the Institutional and Private Wealth investor bases, including best practices and trends specific to these segments.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams including CPMs, Sales, Product Specialists, Product Management team members and others to ensure that clients receive consistent and engaging experiences throughout the investment cycle.
  • Work closely with internal teams to support the development of content and sales materials that explain our investment philosophy, process and performance. Through marketing, drive demand, customer acquisition and retention for the firm.
  • Provide research, analysis and insights on industry trends, competition and market conditions that inform marketing teams’ output.
  • Create and deliver presentations, webinars, marketing roadmaps, etc. to business partners.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field required. Masters or other advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of previous experience in Institutional and Private Wealth marketing, with demonstrable skills in product positioning and relationship management.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
  • Highly detailed and always looking for ways to improve the operation.
  • Outstanding skills in organization, prioritization, and time management.
  • Supreme communication skills, verbal and written, including quick response time and follow ups to correspondence.
  • Problem solver; ability to think on your feet and resolve problems as they arise quickly and efficiently.
  • Strong understanding of the asset-management competitive landscape; experience with both traditional and alternative investment products.
  • Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to develop and maintain lasting relationships with senior investment and distribution professionals; good interpersonal skills; goal oriented.
