Who we are looking for
We are looking for an experienced Financing Solutions professional to lead our team of relationship managers looking after our EMEA Financing Solutions business. State Street’s European presence in securities lending is long-standing. In that time, we have built a long and enviable list of clients, spanning the very top tier of asset owners, pension funds, insurance companies, sovereign entities, and alternative clients. This very experienced, and highly-functioning group is responsible for a significant portion of our division revenue. As such, ensuring that our client-facing organization is operating smoothly and delivering for our clients is of paramount importance.
This role can be performed in a moderate hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements but having a core of days in the office each week.

What you will be responsible for

As EMEA Head of Financing Solutions Relationship Management you will

  • Execute on the Relation Management strategy for EMEA, including making strategic changes
  • Contributes to financial budgets and drives execution against clearly defined revenue, expense and NIBT metrics and milestones;
  • Manage an experienced team of client managers, including all necessary administrative tasks;
  • Coordinate closely with the sales and client service teams to grow our existing relationships, optimize revenue and improve client satisfaction
  • Work towards a revenue target for new-from-existing opportunities to grow client securities lending revenue by expanding the range of Securities Finance (and Global Markets, or State Street, at-large) services;
  • Coordinate across Asset Services and other State Street divisions to execute on strategic RFPs and pricing decisions
  • Understand securities lending market dynamics, anticipate any potential client impact, engage with and manage clients accordingly;

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • BA (Hons) Degree Financial Services
  • 15+ years of financial services experience
  • 10+ years of Financing Solutions experience
  • At least five years of client-facing experience
  • Experience managing a team
